Infrared inspection equipment manufacturer FLIR has published a new 36-page catalogue aimed specifically at the building inspection and energy management sectors. Covering the principles of infrared and its merits compared with other technologies, the publication provides a summary of every camera in the company's ranges, from the smallest, most affordable point-and-shoot i5 and i7 models through to the high resolution and high sensitivity FLIR B660.

Additional sections detail the software options available, including the FLIR-developed BuildIR package, training, after-sales support and accessories. Camera-by-camera technical specifications complete the catalogue.

Infrared has never before been more affordable, says FLIR — and one of the sectors benefiting from this accessibility is building science. The technology is a perfect fit for an industry so highly focused on the prevention of energy loss — and as a result more and more infrared cameras are being sold to those involved in implementing the latest legislation.
