Staffordshire-based Illumination Lighting has developed an LED lighting product that can be retro-fitted into existing fittings or supplied as a ready-to-install unit.
LEDI-DISC is said to be able to halve electricity running costs and abolish the need for maintenance and re-lamping. And to increase energy savings, these lighting units can also be supplied fitted with control devices such as microwave sensors to allow auto switching and three-hour emergency gear in case of power failures etc.
Currently, LEDI-DISCS are available in various output configurations and colour temperatures. Illumination Lighting can also supply lighting characteristics documentation and a lighting calculator to illustrate the energy-saving potential of these new units.
