Daikin has launched a new range of highly energy-efficient ERAD-E series of condensing units, offering high Energy Efficient Rating (EER) values of up to 3.30, thanks to the use of stepless single-screw compressors.
These new ERAD-E units are available in standard and low-noise versions (3dBa reduction) and with an extensive cooling capacity range providing a solution for a range of comfort cooling applications in commercial and industrial environments. They have been designed with size in mind and have a minimal footprint to make replacing old equipment much easier.
ERAD-E units are available in ten sizes, offering cooling capacities from 121 to 488kW in standard format, plus ten sizes with a low noise level offering cooling capacities from 116 to 462kW. All models feature a new P.I.D. logic controller, fully programmed and engineered by Daikin using Siemens hardware, which offers an easy visual interface with a 'push and roll'
navigating wheel.
The units include on-board monitoring and diagnostics, and can be integrated easily with external control systems such as building management systems and sequencing panels.
