With rising energy costs impacting directly on business profits it is now vital to have an effective energy management strategy in place, maintains industrial automation and control specialist Rockwell Automation.
With this in mind, Rockwell Automation is hosting a seminar in Bradford during March to enable managers with responsibility for energy use to learn how an energy reduction plan utilising scalable measurement, reporting and targeting methods, and with the potential to link into production processes will help optimise an organisation’s overall energy use.
The event will enable attendees to find out:
- Why energy management standard ISO 50001 can be the cornerstone of an energy reduction plan
- Why sub-metering is vital to understanding energy use
- How reporting and dashboard tools can influence your operations behaviour and drive costs down, and
- Where you can gain quick energy reductions through ‘point solutions’.
Sessions will include topics such as where to start an energy reduction plan, monitoring and measurement, collecting energy data for reporting and dashboards, and a series of clinics covering energy management planning, systems and software, and ‘quick wins’ such as drives and lighting.
Aimed at managing directors, facilities managers, operations managers, energy managers and other executives with responsibility for energy use, Rockwell Automation’s Industrial Energy Management Seminar takes place at the Cedar Court Hotel Leeds Bradford on Tuesday, March 13.
