BSI's forthcoming Bioenergy conference is designed to help businesses prepare for new renewable energy standards and legislation. It will deliver guidance on the UK Renewable Energy Strategy and provide a forum for the industry to drive bioenergy production, standardisation and use.

In addition to presentations and case studies, discussion sessions will allow delegates to share knowledge, experiences and challenges of producing bioenergy and driving demand with some of the leading experts in this area. And a post-conference workshop will examine the key issues surrounding carbon footprinting and carbon labelling of bioenergy products and projects, with a specific focus on methodology and the challenges ahead.

BSI says the conference — on May 18-19 at the CBI Conference Centre, London — is aimed at all those involved in considering the potential for production, refinement or use of biofuels and/or biomass from utility companies, energy providers, biofuel and biomass producers, bioenergy consultants and regulators.

There are three ways to book: online at http://shop.bsigroup.com/Bioenergy, by telephone at 020 8996 9001 or by email at orders@bsigroup.com.
