Designed to help companies prepare for new renewable energy standards and legislation, BSI's Bioenergy Conference (May 18th, CBI Conference Centre, London) will set out to deliver guidance and best practice for meeting renewable obligations and will provide a forum for the industry to drive bioenergy production, standardisation and use.
In addition to presentations and case studies, discussion sessions will allow delegates to share knowledge, experiences and challenges of producing bioenergy and driving demand with some of the leading experts in this area.
Topics covered include understanding the impact of new and existing legislation on business; benchmarking strategies for commercial advantage; understanding how to implement biofuel standards to ensure product quality; learning how to achieve sustainable biomass production, processing and procurement; and discovering how to invest in biomass and bioenergy production cost-effectively.
This conference is aimed at all those involved in considering the potential for production, refinement or use of biofuels and/or biomass from utility companies, energy providers, biofuel and biomass providers, bioenergy consultants, regulators and environment agencies.
